Directions to Villa Koi ...
Pontoquito is located approximately 25 miles North of the Puerto Vallarta airport.
Exit the airport heading North on HWY 200 toward Compostela (opposite direction of Vallarta). You will pass through Nuevo Vallarta and a couple of other small towns before you will see the large overhead Punta de Mita exit sign off of HWY 200.
Exit and pass through the small fishing village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Approximately 1/4 mile after you leave La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, there will be a sign for the "Palladium" resort. About 1/4 mile after you pass the entrance to the Palladium (on your left), you will see two small green signs on your right indicating that you are about to reach "Fracc.. Pontoquito” and “Fracc Paradise Coves". Immediately past those signs you will see a ramp to your left leading you to Pontoquito & Paradise Coves.
IMPORTANT Note: Before you take the left turn into Pontoquito, check not only the oncoming traffic, but the traffic in your rear view mirror. Since there is NO left hand turnout, the proper driving “etiquette” in Mexico is to pull off to the right, let both the oncoming and rear traffic go by…then make your turn.
You will arrive at bright orange gate house, the first gatehouse to Pontoquito. Please tell the guard that you are a guest at Villa Koi, Lot 3 in Pontoquito. The guard will verify your guest credentials and then let you enter. Once you pass through the gate, make an immediate right until you see, on your left, another gate and sign to Pontoquito. Pass through the second gate and follow the cobble stone road to the second house on your right. You have arrived!
The Villa Koi staff will receive you, put your bags in your rooms and serve you a Marguerita or other cold beverage of your choice! Your vacation has officially begun!!
